eC-BP.org's biweekly newsletter went to more than 50,000 subscribers worldwide, making it the highest circulation publication specifically devoted to the EDI industry, promoting Best Practices. This press release went out last week announcing the milestone. eC-BP.org, established in 2004 to promote best practices in the use and implementation of electronic data interchange (EDI), has been building its readership for more than two years. The organization publishes its newsletter every other Tuesday, and each issue includes articles calculated to engage its readership. The current issue includes the second article in the series "On The Line," each of which highlights the career and duties of one EDI professional. Each issue also includes alerts about changes made to the EDI systems of various companies so that trading partners of those companies can apply the changes in a timely manner. The Professionals Available section in the current newsletter includes short resumes for five EDI professionals available for placement. eC-BP.org's most recent newsletter was sent to than 50,000 recipients, each having some involvement in electronic data interchange (EDI). eC-BP.org is open to story ideas about e-Commerce Best Practices and invites EDI industry executives to participate in its From the Top series.
