UConnect 2009 is in the works. I don't know about you, but I already have my airline and hotel reservations, and booth assignment (booth 102 - stop by). This year's UConnect will be a change for several reasons. The most obvious one is that it is not being held at a Gaylord facility. In a way, I'll miss the Gaylords, particularly since I've learned my way around them over the last 4 years. But the Orlando World Center Marriott is not a bad alternative venue. It is sure to have all the amenities we're used to, and I'm also a fan of Marriott properties. While you're there, be sure to come by the ec-bp.org booth (#102) and say hello. This year we will be recording video interviews again, and I'd love to get your opinions on the state of the EDI world, your job, what you see for the future of EDI, and business in general. We'll also be planning a meetup in one of the hotel's facilities. I can't promise you anything more than a friendly smile and conversation, but please do come join me in the bar. I'll follow up in the next issue, or you can stop by the booth, check our LinkedIn forum, or follow me on Twitter where I'll send notifications. And, if you're interested, Cecil has promised to make the trek to Orlando this year. I'll attempt to coral him into stopping by the bar, but he has his own schedule to keep. See you there! Scott
