It's hard to believe that UConnect was a month ago. It was great to see so many of you there, even if the turn out was lower than last year. I heard from many of you that the sessions were valuable and interesting. I've already started to plan for next year's event in San Antonio, TX. At this year's event we filmed interviews with several of you. In order to entice folks to participate in the interview, we offered a drawing for an iPod Touch. I'm happy to announce that the winner of this year's award is Rebecca Adams, EDI Coordinator for Musco Family Olive Company. Look for Rebecca's interview here in coming months. This month, we have two interviews for you. Ann Arena, Director of Merchandise Management Systems for Spencer Gifts, and Jennifer Thompson, EDI Specialist for Duda & Sons. As I watch all the interviews, I notice a few comments common to most of them. 1 - Several folks indicate that the number of transactions they are processing has increased over the last several months. While their reasons varied, the phenomenon mirrors the trend we have been tracking since December, 2008. 2 - ASN documents are becoming increasingly important to the business process. Audio interviews In this issue we are also kicking off our first audio version of our From the Top series. This one is with eBridge CEO and President Colin Brown. We expect to continue in this mode in our continuing drive to embrace multimedia content at ec-bp.org. If you are interested in participating in these interviews, please let us know. While the first one is with an industry executive, we are open to other topics as well. Let me know if you would like to participate.
